Macromedia Flash test

I saw the magnifying glass effect at TopLeftpixel.com and found it really interesting. I didn't know how to do it in Flash at that time but I learnt it after work today. Try moving your mouse over the image for the 'magnifying' effect :)

I took this picture in downtown San Francisco, at the beginning of financial district on Market Street. (Click on the above picture for a better look)

If you happen to be on Market Street in the evening, you will see countless homeless people trying to spend yet another windy cold night out in the open. I have never seen that many homeless people anywhere else in the city, and it’s a really sad sight.

The restaurant owners in the city can not give away their left over food to these homeless people because of health laws. Instead, some of them pack their left over food in containers and in shopping bags and leave it beside the garbage can in the back alley. Every homeless person knows what time they need to gather around in the back alley of restaurants.

In the context of all this, I found it pretty ironic to see an angel on Market street. But then again, may be they stopped caring and thats how the angels turned stone cold ;)

The best thing I like about clouds is that you can see whatever you want to see in them :) for example this fluffy cloud looks like Barney the dinosaur to me

I found Florida's weather very unpredictable, you never know when rain clouds sneak up on you. Usually its really hot throughout the day.

this is my favorite picture, love the sunlight coming through the clouds.

Stone Mountain park in Georgia, located near Atlanta. The granite mountain has the largest high relief sculpture in the world.

The Confederate Memorial Carving depicts three Confederate heroes of the Civil War: President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. The entire carved surface measures three-acres, larger than a football field. The carving of the three men towers 400 feet above the ground, measures 90 by 190 feet, and is recessed 42 feet into the mountain. The deepest point of the carving is at Lee's elbow, which is 12 feet to the mountain's surface.

The park was having a laser & fireworks show the evening I went there.

That was the end of the show

Seattle sunset. One of the clouds is shaped like a fish and I tried to take as many pictures of that cloud with water as I could :)
