The oddest place to find flowers is at the intersection of El Camino Real and Mathilda Ave in Downtown Sunnyvale. If there is one good thing that has come out from all this rain (3rd week and counting), its these beautiful flowers. The contrast of bare dark trees and bringht, vibrant flowers was quite interesting

Great composition. It would be totally awesome if you didn't center the subject in the first pic. But I love trees and thanks for sharing! I miss the California trees.. boo hoo

Thanks Arsalan, there was a parking lot full of cars behind the tree and this was the only way I could avoid them (you can still see one truck parked in the background though).

Hey have you been around Palo Alto lately? I still can't forget when I was going home after Juma at the Palo Alto masjid. I don't think I took 101 on the way back. It was some other freeway. The view is absolutely breathtaking.. quite like 680 around San Ramon... If you are in the mood for a drive, drive around Palo Alto .. I bet you will see great photo ops there...

Cheers!
