It was sitting on the glass door which gave a nice reflection. I used a magnifying glass infront of my camera lens to get close enough to photograph the texture on the insect :) Click here for Camera settings
mohib: Thank you, this was an experiment to see if a magnifying glass improves anything. The insect was about 1-1.5 cm long and about 5mm wide.
mei: Thanks, it was kind of difficult not to scare the "Green dude" away, I moved very slowly to get the camera lens close to it. A couple of people walking by asked me if there was a break-in in our office because of the way I was sitting stuck to the door knob :)
dukhtar az Pakistan: Thank you, it was getting a little monotonous around here :)
M: Thank you M :)
Suleman: I was reading up how different people use their wide angle lenses along with an extension tube to make themselves a macro lens. Than I thought a magnify's lens should work just as good :)
Moi: Perhaps Arsalan was feeling a little shy to show his face, it's nice to have you back :)
