Hey... i was wondering.. how do you manage to save the precise camera settings for each of the pictures? Is there a way to find this out from the image after it has been captured and transferred to the computer... or do you actually manually RECORD every setting for every picture?

moi: :)

holiday: Thanks for stopping by :) Never mind Leno, if you manage to pull that off you will be hosting Saturday night live for a while ;)

atrophying: If only you were there when I was trying to explain that I bought the zoom lens for genuine bird watching ;)

pomabear: Thank you, I'll be sure to pay your blog a visit :)

Saady: Where you at?

M: Grace or no grace, why would someone actually think about doing this? (remember that humans can sit down when their legs are tired, birds can't) ;)

Salman: Almost all digital cameras save settings embeded inside the photo file (.JPG or whatever format you have selected). This format is almost consistent (Nikon has started encrypting their info) and is called EXIF. Do a google search and you'll find plenty of EXIF readers :)

I've seen pigeons doing the same trick and they never quite manage to look as "cool" as this seagull. :)

I once saw a seagull standing on a leg as a child, and I was going to cry for the poor creature. Then I realized all them seagulls had a "problem". I went silent as a child who saw a spaceship land and was hushed into conspirational silence by a Martian.

You're resurrected the old memory!
